We had our honeymoon in '99, about 18 months after our wedding ceremony. We had a hut by the beach in Tulum, Mexico. Sand floor, the bed is hanging from its 4 corners by rope, the windows show the water line, all the way to the horizon. On our first night there, with the infinite starry sky, the orchestra of insects' night concert and the song waves meeting the shore, this love song was born. It is a visceral experience to simply be united in connection.
